10 months has come, and boy, are we having a blast!!!!!!!
E is keeping A and I on our toes. She is our little gymnast and I think she might just run A and I ragged!
This is a little walker we got her, it's supposed to be used as seen below. She did not have it for longer than 24-hours before she figured out how to climb on it!
She is pretty much eating whatever A and I eat now. So, she gets a steady diet of cheerios along with toast in the morning but I try to make her food fun. See, strawberries on cream cheese toast, very yummy!
Here's cheerios while I work on my 30-day Shred exercise:
She's become my little admin since she has had to come to work with me a few time, just for short visits, everybody at Rapiscan loves her!
Note: not my desk, my desk is not so nice! ;)
She helps with the laundry
Especially when it means she gets to play with my dryer balls
She also loves digging for toys in her ever growing toy box
But, her latest skill that A is specifically proud of, she's the newest drummer addition to the Halitzka household.
Following daddy's footsteps closely
In other updates, we are still trying to resolve this anemia issue with the doctors. We had more blood drawn to confirm the anemia, perform a lead poisoning test, and a general blood work. The Pedi reported back that she has hemolysis, where her blood cells are destroyed very quickly so her body is working over time to make them and keep up with the pace they are dying. We have a referral to see a hematologist, but with insurance, nothing is ever easy. I am waiting for "more codes" to be added to the referral, the hematologist to review the blood work results already done, and then we can schedule an appointment. Hopefully by 11 months we'll have a better understanding of what is going on. So, we continue with iron supplements and in the mean time, she is a happy thriving 10 month old girl so I am not worrying... too much!
Developmentally, she has started clapping and I think she has started to realize it is her own reflection in the mirror. She is close to walking and has started letting go when standing to test the waters. She has also learned how to crawl off the couch and our bed without falling off. She continues to amaze me every single day.
We are holding steady at 6 teeth still, while that once canine tooth made a brief appearance it seems to have decided to stay down for a little while.
She had her first mud pies last week. We had some plumbing issues and the plumbers were out replacing a portion of our sewer line from the house to the city sewer (happy moment to be a renter) and E crawled out the front door and directly to a pile of dirt much to her daddies dismay and started shoveling it in her face. The hardest part was not being able to run water to clean her up. Luckily, parents over rule plumbers and we forced them to accept a bath time break so that we could clean E up.
Other than that we just continue on and E continues to grow and amaze us!
